Greenbrae Steading is a flexible coworking and events space located in Cummingston, near Elgin in Moray, Scotland. It offers a modern office area with coworking spaces for freelancers, micro businesses, and startups. The Showroom is a larger space available for hire for business meetings, workshops, events, and celebrations. If you’re looking for a place to work for the day or to host a get-together, Greenbrae Steading could be a great option.

Payment Terms & Options

The following outlines how payments are handled:

Memberships

• All membership payments are due at the time of signing up on the app. This will be taken during the sign-up process. 

• This payment is for annual membership and will auto renew , should you choose to terminate this earlier the payment is non-refundable.

Desk Hire

• All desk hire payments are due at the time of booking on the app.

• This payment secures your desk space at your chosen day/time and is non-refundable.

Hutties 

• All huttie hire payments are due at the time of booking on the app.

• This payment secures your huttie at your chosen day/time and is non-refundable.

• If you wish to book a regular day / time for the year we are happy to arrange this for you manually and this will be offered at a discounted rate. This option can be discussed with Lucy directly.
   

. Showroom Hire

• Showroom hire, we require a 50% deposit due at the time of booking directly with Greenbrae (not via the app).

• This payment secures your hire at your chosen day/time and is non-refundable. The balance payment is due 7 days in advance of your hire date.

• Additional items – we are happy to supply catering, additional refreshments etc and a copy of this pricelist will be made available at the time of booking. Any additional items will be invoice to you after your event. Please pay this via BACS within 7 days of invoice being sent.

• If your event cancels with less than 7 days notice you will be liable to pay the remaining balance along with any additional services booked.

 

Hours of Business

Coworking spaces are available from 9am – 5pm

Desk Hire and Hutties can be booked as a full day or in  (4 hour blocks) 9am -1pm or  1pm -5pm a

Showroom can be booked 9am - 5pm or 6pm till 9pm.

 

Accessing the building 

Our business hours are Monday to Friday from 8.30am till 9pm.  If you need to get in earlier or later or at a weekend, please let us know. 

There are keys for the Office and the Hutties in keypads. The code for both the keypads is 1506. 

Please make sure that the doors are locked if you are the last to leave and pop the key back in the keypad.  

 

Entry In Our Directory

Whatever level your membership is this will include an entry of your business details in our directory.

We will send you instructions on how to enter your information on your directory page, you can use this page to tell everyone about your business and include any special member offers or promotions you may wish to run.

This is self-managed, and you can update this as regularly as you choose.

• Photo or Logo: Wherever possible we would recommend a professional image. Please use a clear photo or logo of your business. If it’s a photo, make sure it’s high-quality and shows what you do. For logos, they should be in a format that stays clear when we print or put it online.

• You’re Giving Us Permission: By including your photo or logo, you’re allowing us to use it in the directory and anywhere else we need to show it.

 

Greenbrae Community Guidelines

 

• Care for Our Space: Please keep Greenbrae as lovely as you found it. If you rearrange items, kindly put them back. After using the space, clean up any mess. If you are last to leave please ensure you turn off lights and heaters.

 

• Consideration for Others: We’re all in this together, so let’s keep the volume down. Chatting or on a call? Use headphones or book a huttie for privacy.

 

• Embrace Diversity: Greenbrae thrives on diversity. Any form of discrimination or hostility is not welcome here. Let’s celebrate our differences and create an inclusive environment.

 

• Collaborate Kindly: We love when members work together. If you can lend a hand, please do. But also respect each other’s need for focus and productivity.

Kitchen and Shared Areas

 

• Open Access: The kitchen and common spaces are yours to enjoy, complete with complimentary coffee and tea for yourself (any hot drinks for your client must be paid for)

 

• Milk Fund: A contribution jar is available in the kitchen for those who wish to chip in towards the shared milk.

 

• Cleanliness: After using the kitchen, please wash your dishes manually or feel free to use the dishwasher and tidy up. We all appreciate a clean space!

 

• Food Storage: Feel free to use the fridge and cupboard for your food. Just remember to consume it before the expiry date, or we may have to dispose of it.

 

Insurance and Liability

​

• Personal Insurance: Members are responsible for securing their own insurance coverage while working at Greenbrae Coworking Space. This ensures protection for personal equipment and any potential incidents.

• No Liability for Damages: While members are expected to handle Greenbrae property with care, they are not held liable for damages to the coworking space’s property that occur during regular use and without negligence.

Acceptance of Terms

By using the facilities and services at Greenbrae Coworking Space, members are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions in full. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using the space.
